SCHEME OBJECTIVES

  • Towards utilizing the financial resources for procuring essential equipments aimed at enhancing the hands-on practical experience of under graduate students
  • To promote inter-departmental cooperation and inter-institutional tie-ups aimed at enhancing the exposure of students in state-of-the-art technologies and research activities
  • To motivate the faculty towards attending workshops, seminars, conferences and symposia towards improving the technical expertise in their respective subject areas
  • To organize seminars and workshops towards expanding the frontiers of knowledge of the students as well as the faculty
  • Towards enhancing the reference base of the students as well as faculty by procuring more recent editions and other technically advanced publications for the library
  • To expand the information technology resources accessible to the students for effective and updated reference browsing for Under Graduate student project works
  • To create awareness among the public on the qualitative changes in the laboratory infrastructure aimed at enhancing the number applicants applying for life science courses offered by the institution
  • To enhance the status of the institution among life science course offering colleges in the country
