KNOWLEDGE SUMMIT- AN OVERVIEW
Man has travelled a long way in his endeavors to advance each and every field of knowledge and life. Almost all the achievements of man can be attributed to his curiosity, which has led him in understanding and discovering many secrets of the globe. As a consequence, he has reached today’s level of development in all the areas of life. However, despite of all these achievements, he has been facing so many problems and challenges and the major challenge the ones he himself has created. We at St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) strongly believe in sharing cutting edge research outcomes for opening the right path in scholastic minds particularly the younger ones. Let us all join hands in taking these initiatives further for the betterment of the society.
As all are aware, active research is needed to address many of the challenges man is facing and a plethora of problems and challenges awaits in every sphere of life. They are subject matters of concern in various disciplines and a solution to these problems cannot be reached without sharing new knowledge.
St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, Kerala is organizing ALBERTIAN KNOWLEDGE SUMMIT (AKS 2019) – An International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research with the aim to provide a forum for academics and professionals from multidisciplinary areas to network and to share knowledge. Intended with seminars of international resource persons and paper and poster presentations of scholars in every disciplines of knowledge.AKS-2019 will be held from 4 January 2019 onwards The summit will definitely be platform to the researchers for more exposure that can benefit every community
The ability to send and receive knowledge within different subsidiaries has become imperative for the any branch of knowledge. There are several known barriers and facilitators for transferring knowledge across different borders. Social interaction is one variable that have been shown to positively impact the knowledge sharing within the discipline. The challenges social interaction bridges are especially related to tacit knowledge, which is foremost shared through face-to-face interaction in social communities. With the above discussed aspects in mind we opt to have sub theme “Sharing knowledge through interactions” for the knowledge summit.
